Combined Solution Provides Low Cost, Versatile Aerial Advantages to Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Military and Commercial Markets
Boca Raton, FL. September 1, 2018. Sky Arrow Aircraft Company (SAAC) and STRAX Intelligence Group (SIG) announced a new collaboration agreement that combines their strengths to provide an operationally efficient, lightweight aerial observation platform with fully integrated software and secure datalink capabilities able to disseminate and share real-time situational awareness data including live video, map annotations, and advanced analytics to multiple locations.
Under the agreement, the two companies will integrate SIG’s STRAX® Software Platform and IER® Intelligent Event Response situational awareness technology with SAAC’s FAA Part 23 certified manned aircraft.
SAAC’s FAA Part 23 certified manned aircraft’s versatility, unprecedented visibility, twin payload bays, low acquisition and lifetime operating costs provide economic efficiency and performance that have significant advantages over UAS/drones, helicopters or other fixed wing aircraft.
Together, SIG and SAAC provide versatile aerial intelligence to multiple law enforcement, public safety, military and commercial operations. The combined solution is an alternative to UAS/drone Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations including at night or in controlled airspace with lower risk. Applications include: border/coastal/remote patrol, air, land and marine interdictions, remote observation, precision agriculture, infrastructure inspection, search and rescue, disaster response, and fire detection and support.
